Their trucks, hammers, patches and certificate of completion. They didn't have any aprons to give out (which I was a little sad about because how cute would that be, but of course the kids couldn't have cared less)

Trying to find Jessie
He found her!!
Today there were three different events I wanted to take the kids to which were all around the same time. We only made it to two of the three due to some very ridiculous directions from mapquest which cost us some time but we had fun nonetheless. First we hit up the Build and Grow (an event that happens about twice a month at Lowe's where kids can build some sort of craft for free and they get an apron, name tag and hammer to keep along with their masterpiece) to make monster trucks. They LOVED IT! (I was having a hard time helping them back and forth as fast as they wanted me too but the nice employee in charge of it all was very helpful in assisting me) After we built trucks we headed up north to the Disney Store where they completed little activities to help Woody save the toys from the daycare center.(The plot of Toy Story 3, I think.) They got their own little bandana's and activity LEGO books once they completed all the tasks. It was a very enjoyable day but we were all happy to get home because everyone was very hungry. The conversation once we got out of the car at home went something like this:
Wyatt: "You're gonna KILL ME!"
Me: "WHAT, what are you talking about?"
Wyatt: "Your not feeding me, I'm gonna DIE I'm sooo hungry!"
(I'll have you know he ate a HUGE breakfast before we left the house at 9:45 this morning not to mention granola bars and drinks two hours later and then we were home an hour after that and I asked him if he was hungry but of course he wasn't then just on the 20 minute car ride home)

What a great day. Can't wait to see you all. Thanks for sharing.
Love ya
Do you have a Home Depot? They do projects every week, here at least. I know all Home Depots do a fun project the 1st Saturday of the month. JT and Hannah go. They have aprons and you get a pin with the project on it.
Also, check your local library for summer reading fun. Our's is giving away a free book after you read or listen to so many hours, did depends onthe childs age. They also have fun activities. Hannah is doing a craft project every Thursday. They also have an Adult program, I had to read 3 books and write a review.
What awesome crafts! And, I'm loving all the free stuff you got at Lowe's! Sweet!
