Explaining to us and her bus driver, Mr. Woo, that no matter how many times she reminds her elephant stuff animal to flap his ears when she throws him he doesn't fly he just falls!

I showed him that he didn't have to constantly be in motion for it to fly.

He was very pleased with this discovery.

Ever since elementary school I have loved Junie B. Jones books. And today (thanks to Heidi and her incredible blog) the kids and I went and saw her at Book People! It was so much fun! The kids and I were in stitches the whole time, she is so dang funny! They had a PINK bus (which of course Kay loved!) and they did skits from all the different books (which Wyatt and I loved) and Augustus even lasted the whole time (about 45 minutes, he's such a trooper putting up with all of us dragging him everywhere!). We also got to fly kites before we left and managed to make cupcakes for my visiting teaching when we got back and when I asked them what their favorite part of the day was the resounding response "Picking up Daddy from WORK!" Sorry Junie B. Jones, kite flying and cupcakes you can never trump Daddy!
