Exhausted after a long afternoon.
First off I just want to say that my husband is Hercules. I'm convinced. He paddled that canoe at super speed for over an hour straight! He could stop on a dime and turn round to pick up various things that Kailyn and I accidentally dropped in the water and he could have paddled all day at such speeds but the kids were worn out. It was beautiful! Today we went to Zilker park and the kids played on the fire truck and playground. Then we walked down to the creek which flows into Lady Bird Lake/Town Lake/ Lake Austin, whatever you want to call it, and rented a canoe. It was amazing! We all loved it! We saw turtles, fish, cranes, trains, other boats, went under bridge after bridge and we even got to feed geese while canoeing! It was just gorgeous! After the canoe ride more playing at the park and then after batting his little eyes and asking his daddy ever so nicely Wyatt got to ride the train! Then when we got home we had an intense game of hide n' go seek! It was a perfect day!

Looks like you guys are making the most of the break! I'm jealous, I miss Austin!
Is it hot yet? We are getting into the 60's but then it rains and we drop to 50's or 40's. Mom is happy, unlike you guys she loves the cool and cold weather and greatly dislikes the heat. Funny since she was born and raised in Las Vegas!

P.S. Ash mom got your card and loved hearing from you. She said she misses the old days of hearing from your dad.
What a fun time! We want to take the kids on the raft but we can't take Daniel, so when he's a little older we'll be having a good time like you guys.
