The bank (free suckers), I really did have an errand to do their too, I don't just take my kids their for the suckers, we aren't that poor I promise. ;)
the park (free fun)
the library (free books)
special, special, special lunch (Chic-fil-a)
swimming (at our complex pool)
homemade snow cones (made by their awesome dad)
and a movie (Harry Potter since Travis and Wyatt finished reading it last night, not what I remembered and I made them hide their faces in pillows for a good bit of it.)
Now the kids are all exhausted and sleeping well!
Here's to eventful mondays!
Look at those angry faces, you'd think I stole their suckers or something, but all I really did was call their name and take a picture!
She was not needing assistance, I promise. She was accusing me of not looking at her slide down the fire pole. When I was, actually looking at her AND taking pictures of her doing it.
A deep moment with Wyatt the great.
Like the mohawk? That's the only way he'll do his hair, he wanted an actual mohawk but I didn't think it would look to nice for church. So faux mohawk it is.
Queen of the rock.
Running a muck outside the library. Gus insisted on trying to play in bird poop, while Wyatt insisted on trying to break a spotlight with a stick!

It's days like this that look and seem just like vacation/staycation but, just a lot less expensive. We all need days like this. Thanks for sharing.
