Saturday we took the kids over to the local high school parking lot to teach Wyatt how to ride his bike. He was very against it from the get go insisting he needed training wheels. But we showed him that he was plenty big enough to touch the ground while sitting on it so it helped put him at ease. He did amazing! He was a good sport and didn't quit even though he really wanted to. He kept at it for over and hour and a half. He would ride his bike by himself then realize he was in fact, by himself, and would stop the bike and smile and say things like "whoa, I just did that, that's pretty cool, huh mom?" and my favorite "did you see that? yeah, yep (head nodding) I AM awesome!!"
We are so proud of you Wyatt!
Travis and I took turns practicing with Wyatt.
Great kids who waited/played in the hot hot heat waiting for Wyatt.
Gus took a spill running around, Trav said he stepped off the curb then climbed back up on to the sidewalk only to then run straight off the sidewalk and completely eat it. Crazy baby and his "I am invincible, super baby" thinking.
Kailyn tried it out once then resorted to playing with Augustus pretending to be everywhere but there.
Taking a much needed water break!
It was in the triple digits!
