NASA: Johnson Space Center

Thursday, Travis woke up and said "Let's go to NASA!". So we got ready and went down to Houston. Spent 5 hours at the space center, 2 hours driving through Houston traffic (because the Space Center closes at 5pm, lame I know) and then after another 3 hours of driving we returned to all that is awesome, I mean Austin.

Waiting for our Tram tour. Travis was being funny, because I asked everyone to smile. But the face he gives actually sums up how he felt about the whole experience.

The many tanks that feed into a huge building where they mimic the weather conditions of space.

Mock set up, something something.
Circle of Oaks in honor of the astronauts that have passed.

Touching the MOON!

HUGE, I mean HUGE playground the kids spent a good chunk of their time in.
And I've always wanted to start a shadow box and collect little things from the places we go. So it's now or never. I also want to collect something from the places we've lived so I need to get something from Austin before we move, and next time we go to Houston get something and somehow get something from Rexburg, because unless we magically have to move there again, there's no way I'm going back. It snowed on my birthday last time I was there. My birthday is in May, MAY!, it snowed in MAY! Needless to say Rexburg and I are not friends.

It supposed to snow in Rexburg today (Memorial day weekend!). I don't think Rexburg is friends with anyone right now!
