Austin Nature Center

We've had the car lately so we've been putting it to good use.

Wednesday I took the kids to Austin Nature Center and then after a couple of hours of digging for dinosaur bones in the 96 degree weather we went SWIMMING!

Checking out some animals, alive and stuffed.

On to the dino pit.

Wyatt worked really hard on this hole.

He even let another little boy help/mess up his hole.

Talking to the little boy who was standing really close to Wyatt watching him dig:

W: You can dig with me, if you want?

B: YEAH!

Boy starts scooping sand down into the hole and then out again.

W: Umm, try starting with your shovel IN the hole.

Boy does.

W: Yeah, like that, good job!

They were all being bats (my kids LOVE to pretend play) and chasing me around outside, just a brief explanation of the picture below to explain his funny mannerisms.

We had a picnic then we spent hours in the pool!

I love when the day is spent outside!
