The kids and I took a little day trip to the Ice Cream Factory in Brenham!
It was really fun learning about how our favorite ice cream is made. It takes over 50,000 cows to get the milk they need for one DAY worth of production. They don't own any dairies so all that milk is from another source. They are the third largest in sales in the U.S. but only available in 19 states! All the employees can eat, take home, have, as much ice cream as they want. The number one seller is their homemade vanilla ice cream and if you haven't had it, you're missing out, it is divine.
We LOVE Blue Bell ice cream!
We ended up staying at the factory for almost three hours!
Father and sons statues of the founders of Blue Bell Creameries.
It was so windy, and Kailyn was very good to turn and smile every time for me. With the hair in her face and all she didn't complain and just kept smiling for me.
First ice cream truck!
Our cool hats right before the tour, Wyatt wouldn't wear his but offered to take our picture instead. I think we embarrassed him.
The kids sporting their Blue Bell get up the next day!
