This morning, after breakfast, the kids and I headed out to Pflugerville Lake. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! The weather was cloudy and windy, and I should have brought jackets, and I could have picked a better weather day but I really wanted to take the kids to it. And I'm so glad we went! The kids loved this spider web thingy and climbed on it a ton! We feed ducks, played in the rock sand (mostly rocks with a little sand), splashed in the water, ate a picnic, and played on the little playground.
Ducks!
Wyatt was a pro at this!
Instructing Kailyn on how to climb down, such a great brother.
He loves water and practically tried to bathe in it.
Wyatt made a "sort of castle", as he called it, but then he wrecked it before I could take a picture!
We spent a couple of hours at the lake and then drove home, to make Gus's well check appointment he had at 1pm. He was still so exhausted at his appt that he didn't even cry for shots or his blood draw!
And we learned he's still the runt of our family.

You take your kids to such cool places! I'm jealous because even if it weren't snowing 24/7 and freezing cold-there really isn't that many parks here. And, I love the pics of you and your kids on the train tracks!
