1st time for everything

Henry's first time in a shopping cart...ever.
Apparently his mom's a germ-a-phob

 He thought it was great.
I had Travis's car which meant I forgot my Ergo Carrier in mine.
Soooo grocery shopping was interesting.
He loved the cart.

 Until...
He stood up....and tired to get out of the cart...CONSTANTLY.
It was okay though we didn't have a lot to get.
And he's just so cute!

In the check out line a nice man in line ahead of me helped me unload my groceries and even helped me to my car. Everyone else assumed he was my husband because he was being so kind. This is the first time anyone has helped me unload my cart (not that I needed it, I'm getting better at being gracious and accepting help, because people are just trying to be nice and put good in the world) and I only had two kids with me. It made me cry a little. I thanked him profusely. I was actually grocery shopping for a girl I visit teach who's almost due with the flu and a toddler at home. It was just really neat. Kindness pass it on, type of thing ya know? It was a pretty awesome morning.

I should read your blog more often. This was wonderful. And how do you keep your kids rooms clean?! Reminds me of a bedroom out of a magazine.
Love you Ash!
