Student of the Week!

Every week they pick one student from each grade level to recognize for good behavior and being awesome and what not.

Each teacher nominates one student from their class and then the principal picks one of those students.

Wyatt was picked this week!!!

So proud of him and happy for him!

(Kailyn wins stuff a lot and that can be disheartening, especially when they're in the same school! She has been nominated as well. She also won a coloring/story contest and won tickets to a Rockets game. So needless to say he needed this)

He got his picture up in the school hallway, newsletter and announcements. He got a free meal from Mcdonalds, pencil, ice cream ticket, 10 earnie bucks, and a pencil case!

What his teacher wrote about him was:

"Wyatt is a perfect gentleman. He is polite to teachers and students. He is a hard worker, organized and accountable. Everyone enjoys being in the company of Wyatt because of his friendly, positive attitude and calm demeanor."

He's my kid. Made me cry a little with joy and yeah,  pride.

I told him it was a special day and he could have anything he wanted for dinner.
