I love the beach. Love it! I've been wanting to go forever so I woke up today and told the kids we were going. Travis, though he didn't want to go, was a great sport and came along.
We had such a great day at Surfside Beach! It lifted everybody's mood, especially mine, nothing like getting outdoors and away from the everyday.
We collected shells, harassed seagulls, built sandcastles, played in the ocean, had a picnic and had a fun time being together! I soo belong at the beach and so do my kids! They love it! Especially Wyatt, he loves it most of all and all of it. The sand, the ocean the fun creatures to find and discover, everything! He said the next time we move, we should move to the beach.
I couldn't agree more.
Upon arrival I got the car stuck!!
Wouldn't be a Kelley trip without something going wrong, luckily a good Samaritan pulled us out with his truck.

Happy the car got pulled out and slowly getting over being upset with me for getting it stuck.
Why don't we have 4wheel drive?
We should especially with me driving and Travis' luck in general.
This kid ate so much sand and it didn't even phase him.
It warmed up to a nice 75 degrees when we got there.
Just warm enough to play in the water a bit.

So happy to be there!
