The time finally came for me to enroll Wyatt into Kindergarten.
He was excited and I was fake excited but he couldn't tell the difference so it was okay.
I wanted the day to be the best possible so I tried my hardest, which included waking up at 4:30am to make the chocolate chip cookies that I promised, but then forgot about.
After his morning breakfast of Darth Vader pancakes, strawberries, blackberries and almond chocolate milk.

We went early to meet his teacher.
Wyatt was a bit nervous, can you tell?
He was tough and did well.
I on the other hand tried really hard to walk out of the school without crying.
I would have if this conversation hadn't ensued:
(After dropping Wyatt off in his classroom and walking down the hall)
K: What are we going to do without Wyatt?
M: We'll play together, you, me and Gussy.
K: Yeah but what about Wyatt? I'm really going to miss him. I hope he has a good day, I hope he does fun stuff. What are we going to do without him Momma? What's Wyatt going to do? I hope there aren't mean kids. I hope he has a fun day, Momma. I'm really going to miss Wyatt, what are we gonna do without him???!!
Needless to say I didn't have a prayer. I quickly walked out and dried my eyes as best as I could as not to alarm people passing by.
He ended up having a good first day just a bit overwhelming. A lot of unfamiliar faces and places. But he was excited for the next day which went even better than the first!
He also completed this LEGO tie fighter ALL BY HIMSELF when he got home from school!
Something we had gotten months ago to have as a project to work on after school, I didn't think he'd finish it so fast!!
