Field Trip!!!

There's too much stress in our little apartment. We have to be out in less than a month, with plans unknown and it's been taking a toll on all of us.
So I instigated a field trip. We skipped the morning school schedule and went as a family to Perdenales Falls. It's so dry that there wasn't much to the falls but it was still beautiful and fun to hike around on. But still it was seriously such a perfect day. We hiked, we came home and went swimming had a yummy dinner (I made Gumbo and cornbread) and everyone was wiped and out like a light by 7:40. Thank you little family of mine for this day!Water is usually rushing over the big rocks.

The trail to the falls.
They love each other so much! I caught Gus calling Kailyn "momma" the other day. Only to discover she was telling him to!!
I love this picture. Reaching for her daddy, just so cute.

These two have no fear. They were constantly trying to give Trav and I heart attacks!
(Side note: Travis is right behind Kailyn, just incase you were thinking "well of course they'd give you a heart attack you weren't even by your dang kids!")

Wyatt found some sort of tank. He was pretty excited to show his dad.
Kailyn being sad about something.
Let me explain her hair do, as I feel it needs some explaining. She wanted Minnie Mouse hair with a polka dot bow. So I did what I could. End of story.
Gus's face after I told him to stop throwing sand and rocks.
On the walk up they were getting pretty hot so I kept pouring water on their heads. Kailyn really thought it was funny and would chase us being the "water head monster".

Playing/Eating/Cooling off in the car.

She ate all the strawberries. Except for the three Gus sneaked past her.
(Another side note: Kailyn was the only one who would let me take her picture, otherwise there would be more of my other lovely offspring.)
