I've been wanting to go to the Free Summer Musical they put on every year for kids since we moved here over three years ago. The plan was to take the older two and leave Augustus with Travis. But after running some morning errands Kailyn and Gus were both tired, so Wyatt and I just went. Which worked out great because waiting for the play to start and having to be quiet throughout the play would have been too much for Kay and Gus. We got there early to get tickets (it's on a first come first serve basis) then walked next door to the library and picked out new books to read. We ended up waiting a bit until the play started so we read our books to the nearby kids, until it all began. The play was called the Curious Case of Rumplestilskin. Rumplestilskin was on trial for all the things he did. Cinderella was Rumplestilskins attorney and he was being cross examined by the Big Bad Wolf. I thought it was really cute. Wyatt, however, didn't like it. But he did like the library and the "Color COW!" outside. In fact he asked me to take all of these pictures of him by the cow. On our way out we found a little fountain and Wyatt made a wish. "I wish that a Fire Truck would come and give me a ride all the way home!". Then he waited and nothing happened and then asked "So when do they make these wishes happen? Like tomorrow a Fire Truck will come to our house? Or the next next day or something?". It was fun outing just him and I, even if he didn't like the play (he loved the cow), and even though it ended with a homeless lady chasing us and then giving me the finger when I wouldn't give her money(he wasn't scared or scarred by this just upset that I tossed him in the hot car first so I could continue to tell her no). I love you Wyatt thanks for being entertained by the little things or should I say big, colorful cow things.
