So I guess it is best to now explain our new plans.
Travis is not attending Law School.
He got accepted to Wesleyan Law, St. Mary's Law, Maine Law, and South Texas Law.
But after long consideration he decided not to go to any of them.
We don't want to take on the extra school debt when the possibilities of a job after graduation are so slim. It is just not a Lawyers market right now.
So that leaves you all wondering what we are going to do now?
Well now, Travis is applying to become an Officer in the Army.
So far it has been going really well and we've gotten a lot of good advice
(Thank you Ryan and Michelle) and he's passing his tests with flying colors.
Right now we'll remain in Austin until we are moved elsewhere and hope to find a home to rent while we embark on our next big adventure.....

Glad to hear you made a decision. Glad to hear we were able to help. We were a bit worried that we were too negative about the army, but we wanted you to know as much as possible going into it.Personally, I think the good outweighs the bad. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have anymore questions! Who knows? We may meet up sometime in the near future if Ryan decides to go back in as a chaplain.
