Close Call Wednesday

Yesterday when the light turned green I paused. I didn't go for some reason I just stared at the light then looked behind me to see if there were any cars behind me getting ready to honk at my slow reaction. There wasn't. So when I did go, just then a pick up truck came barreling through the intersection running a very red light (like two other lights had gone since his turned red) right in front of our car. I slammed on my brakes as all the other cars laid on their horns honking at the crazy son of a gun who just sped through the intersection. If I would have gone at the green light, without hesitating, he would of t-boned us at 50 miles per hour.

Later during lunch Kailyn hopped off her chair and came over to me looking really tired and said "I'm all done", after hardly touching her food. I asked her to come here and I'd wash her hands (I was just finishing up making Wyatt's lunch in the kitchen) she comes over and she doesn't look so good. So I say "Babe what's wrong", and at that point comes over to me and collapses in my arms and her eyes roll in the back of her head. I immediately try to get her to come to, she keeps responding in and out and saying "yes" and "what", when I ask her if she's okay. So since she was responding and breathing normally, and her lips went from blue to purplish (pinking up) I called the emergency line at the doctors office and give her all the information "she just hopped off her chair from lunch said she was done and then collapsed, she hasn't fallen, was acting just normal before, no fever, her lips were bluish they've pinked up, she's responsive and breathing, she's had no medications the only thing is her flu shot and pneumonia vaccine she had yesterday" they said that since she is responsive, not having labored breathing, isn't blue in the finger tips or mouth (anymore) that she was probably just really tired and to wake her up every ten minutes and watch her through out the day. So that's what Wyatt and I did. And then after about an hour she woke up looked around and smiled. And she was perfectly fine the rest of the day.
