A lot better than Yesterday.

After a bit of an anxious drop off of Travis at school we headed to the park for some running around.
Playing at Zilker Park!

Twiners.
Our cute baby enjoying the swing, all by himself!

Right by the park is Barton Creek Springs so we walked down and feed the ducks!
Augustus watching the ducks and dogs. He tried to bounce out of his sling to get the dogs.
No such luck 'Gustus!
Watching the dogs jump in the creek to fetch sticks. Wyatt was AMAZED! Kailyn was a bit worried the dogs couldn't touch the bottom but found out they could swim.
Right after the park we headed straight over to the OLIVIA 10th Anniversary story time at Book People.
They had cookies and stickers.
Coloring Gelato (not ice cream) that's what OLIVIA ate in the story while in Italy." Why did she eat lots and lots of galato, momma?"
Went home for a couple of hours to play, eat a light lunch, and draw on the mirror with some old makeup! They thought that was pretty cool, and thought even more so when I didn't clean it off because I wanted them to show daddy their masterpiece! Daddy was a bit surprised, to say the least, but quickly complimented once he saw the little proud faces of the artists.
After the kids and I had our break at home we came back downtown to pick up Travis and have a linner picnic (a very late lunch/early dinner) at Butler Park.
The kids got Happy Meals!
They kept asking what they were and what was in the box and if their was food inside and so on. Obviously this was not an occasional experience so it was quite the treat!
After they ate we went across the street where all the dogs run around and play asking if they kids could pet their dogs. Wyatt loved all the dogs and Kailyn was afraid of the little yappy dogs but loved the BIG dogs. Lastly, Wyatt wanted his picture taken by the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue or as he would say "that big cowboy" so right before we headed back Travis ran over with him and did just that.
This was an extremely better day then yesterday.

I saw on Facebook that Jared saw you guys were at UT! I can't believe being in the middle of that. I would be so terrified. You should blog about that so we can hear what happened where you were...but I totally would understand if you never wanted to talk about it! So scary. I'm so glad today was so much better! I dont' think I could handle two days in a row like that. So, so glad you guys are safe.
