They had a real egg and when they came back to "school" to show me them they had magically hatched into rubber duckies! (Well one rubber ducky, because we only have one, so I called their "teacher"and she explained to me how one of the ducks had died and Wyatt offered a more in depth reasoning stating "because he couldn't break through his shell cause he wasn't strong enough")
We learned a dinosaur song (from everything preschool), read these books, learned about ducks, made duck nests, had a special phone call from Daddy, played dodgeball, had them bring D things from home (we've been doing this with every letter), practiced writing our letters, played "Where's the dinosaur egg?", danced and then they got to SEE their dad (he's been out of town all week with the car, and they got to see him for about 30 minutes until he had to go to his other job, yep he's got three now!) So we went swimming!
