I did a little mini lesson on recycling with the kids today. It was a really cute explaining it to Wyatt and Kailyn. Wyatt kept asking questions and repeating it back to make sure he understood that "momma, we're taking our trash to make new trash?", and Kailyn just says "ya, ya" to everything you say. So we got some recyclables (empty milk jugs, junk mail and old soap bottles) and headed over to our new recycle bins they put out by our mail boxes, and began sorting it out. Wyatt was soo excited to throw all the stuff in the bins and singing his made up recycling song. And that's our biggest attempt yet on going green. Hopefully it'll stick.

Love it. I'm going to try that as well.

What a good mom you are! I bet living in Austin helps... here in Houston it's still... Recycling?...what?
Ps, I love Kailyn's top, did you sew it? do you still have the same couches as me?
