I love Mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day Mom! Without you there would be no me and then I would have no Wyatt and Kailyn and that would be a sad sad world. So thank you! Today was beautiful! Beautiful weather, beautiful family just plain beautiful. The kids slept in til 6am it was like they KNEW it was Mother's Day! So we woke up and had waffles and oatmeal, got ready and played most of the morning. Everyone was happy for the most part. They were both still sick but happy nonetheless. Travis woke up and had Wyatt come get me to go downstairs. He comes in and says "Momma go down stairs I got you book!" and I said "A book? What kind of book?" he said "uhh a blue one, come down stairs momma". I told him thank you and went downstairs to tell Travis what Wyatt told me and Travis just shook his head and said "that's why we don't tell him anything he spoils the surprise!" Then they gave me the book. It wasn't just any book it was the book I remember my mom having when we were little and I loved it and ever since I was pregnant with Wyatt I wanted it! It is .... LOVE YOU FOREVER! It's a wonderful book! What made it even better was Travis wrote a poem in the front of it and had the kids sign it. I thought it was some poem he found and liked, so put it in there, it was a really good poem. But little did I know he wrote it on the spot about two seconds before I came down stairs! I was more than impressed, and still am, about it. After that we drove around and decided to run inside the farmer's market to get some fruit and veggies. This store was amazing! The produce was top notch and so cheap! We got tons of berries, apples, pears, cucumbers, bell peppers and some healthy peanut butter cereal to snack on. All delicious. We came home all took naps. (Yes, everyone took a nap!) Then we decided to blow up our kiddie pool! It was a big hit, with Wyatt and I, Kailyn is till a little gun shy about water. Travis and Kailyn painted while Wyatt and I played in the pool. Then Travis wanted us to paint him and then he got carried away trying to paint Kailyn. Wyatt and I stopped him before it got anywhere close to Travis's get up. After dinner the kids and I set up the slide in the living room and played. Wyatt thought it was a lot more fun to watch Kay crash into the pillows instead of actually go down it. I am so lucky to be their mom! I love being a mom! Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! My favorite part of this post was the "Travis, Please change the air filters" sign on the fridge. Hope he did it!

Hi Ashley,
Kathleen told me how to find you! How exciting, it was so fun to scroll through your pictures and then I realized something TOTALLY crazy!!! I am in your Dad's ward now. I'm in the 1st ward and I know Perry Dobson. I thought that was him from your pictures, but it seemed too weird, then I realized it really was. Anyway, you look beautiful as always!!! And your kids are darling. Where are you in Austin? My parents live there now. Janelle Jones
