I'm Old....again.

I  was so lucky to spend the day with my whole family! Travis ended up getting to stay in town for my birthday! It was his longest time home in months! The kids and I loved it! For my birthday we headed off to the Children's Museum to make up for not getting to go on Wyatt's birthday. So we got Wyatt out of school early and headed downtown!

But first they gave me presents!!
Among all the goodies was a book I had read at Target to the kids called The Dark by lemony snicket and loved!
I love children's books. I love reading to the kids and telling the kids stories its one of my favorite things!
 Children's Museum!
 Wyatt building "the impossible bridge"
And riding a bike to create electricity!
 Augustus chilling in a mustang
Kay and Wyatt fixing a maze
 Catching fish!

This one was cool! You build a block house then simulate an earthquake and tornado and see if you're house can with stand it.
 Building the arch
 Standing under the arch
Gus finding out what happens when you punch the arch
This was a pretty cool maze. But poor Kay started freaking out and crying...which I predicted.
So she set off to rock climb instead..like a spider monkey.

 They're on the NEWS!
I loved this one! It was in an exhibit called kidmotropolis. They had a vet clinic, bank, mayor office, grocery store, news station, postal service, and so much more. The kids got little credit cards to buy stuff with and even got to have jobs and get paid!
The News station was by far my favorite part!
 They even had a TelePrompTer!

The kids loved controlling! They had background sounds, music, screens, could type what they wanted you to say it was awesome!

I think it was Wyatts favorite too!
He loved controlling everything and making the audience "laugh".

 Delivering the packages!

 Making a water tornado!
Getting a job as a bank teller!
 Being paramedics.
After watching Wyatt put the paddles on the manicans face, Kailyn turn around completely while driving and Gus stabbing shots into its shins, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want their ambulance to pick me up. But they sure are cute.
Not quite sure to do with the dead body....

Thanks for a fun filled day Travis, Wyatt, Kailyn and Gus!!
Getting older is a lot easier to hand with all of you with me, I love you!
