We took the kids camping in Austin and they loved it. Seriously, even Kailyn did who hates being outside 80% of the time. We only went for two days and one night since Travis is only in town for such a short amount of time. And poor Travis kept thinking Mckinney Falls was Perdenales Falls so he was a bit disappointed when he got the two confused, however he didn't let that get in the way of having a good time. And the kids and I were just so happy to be all together, OUTSIDE, and in AUSTIN we feel so lucky!!
Our campsite, right next to the creek. I drew a line on the rock...whoever crossed it without a mommy or a dadddy got to sit in time out. It only happened once!
Throwing rocks in the creek. Wyatt almost hit the turtle he was "not trying to hit".
I thought this spot was perfect for pictures!! Gus was grinning so much because he just finished up a long conversation with tree and apparently that tree is a hoot.
Love this.
And this... she doesn't have the nickname crazy kay for nothing.
My silly, awesome, three I love them so much.
Notice the ghetto booty?? That kid worked long and hard filling that diaper..
Racing!!
And running!
Cooking dinner on our favorite little stove!
Its awesome. Thanks Mom and Rob...again.
Wyatt's been learning about Texas history and how our state flower is the bluebonnet and how you are NOT suppose to pick it.....he threatened to tell the park rangers on his dad. Wyatt was very unhappy with Travis and Travis did it all to ruffle Wyatts feathers....Dads...
An evening walk after dinner.
Gus found a snake and
Wyatt almost stepped on said snake.
Campfire kisses.
Father and Son.
A lot of Gus... we don't play favorites he was the only on either holding still and close to us or being held. Both very easy to take pictures of.
Travis holding up the rock tunnel for us as we went on a morning hike.
He's so thoughtful, that Travis.
After our hike the younger ones.. and Travis were done. So Wyatt and I went exploring for a bit.
And climbed down to the water below.
Where we found some turtles and a good walking stick........that we later chucked in the water to watch it fall down the falls.
The end.
