Once we got back from meet the teacher night Wyatt started freaking out about only having a few days of summer left! He kept telling us all that we need to do something fun and that we couldn't waste our last days of summer! So we surprised the kids and took them to Chuck E Cheese the next day. Wyatt and Kailyn were sooo excited! They have never been but have heard about it from cousins, friends and schoolmates. Also from TV, which we don't have but their grandparents do so when we pulled up and they were giggling with joy Wyatt yelled "OHh MOM thank you so much! Thanks for letting us be kids!!!". The slogan for Chuck E Cheese is "WHere a kid can be a kid!"
Nice nose picking Gus.
Not too sure about the moving jeep.....
getting used to it.....
loving it!!!
Wyatt taking Gus for a ride.
They were freaking out/loving it, laughing while looking a bit tense.
She loved the rides!
No one wanted to take this picture. Can you tell?
A GIANT HORSE RIDE!!
They had to walk up a staircase to ride it!
The kids had so much fun!
We stayed there for almost three hours and used a bizzillion tokens. Every ride or game only needed one token and it's free to get in. We went after breakfast so we didn't have hungry kids since the food is disgusting and overly priced so it was the perfect cheap summer time fun!
The next day Travis came up with their surprise and took us all to a chocolatier downtown called the chocolate bar. It was delicious. They had their own specialty ice cream, cakes, cookies, pies, brownies, and chocolate-everything-you-can-imagine! The kids were in heaven.
Those two trips really seemed to help fill Wyatts need to get out and do something new before school starts!
