Wyatt's 6th Birthday Party!
I wish I had more and better pictures but I was trying to do the party and sneak a picture here and there. While my dear husband was "enjoying the party" or at least that's his excuse for not taking pictures but here's a little proof of his birthday party fun.
He wanted a death star cake.
I tried my best but fondant and I do NOT get along plus its gross which is the very reason why I NEVER use it.
At least the cupcakes were good.
Goody bags.
R2D2 Soap, Han Solo Chocolate, Death Star candy apples, R2D2 crayons w/coloring pages and their certificates. Plus they all took home their light sabers and robes.
Homemade may be "ghetto" but it's sooo much cheaper!
I started the young Padawans (Jedi's in training) with Jedi Agility Training.
They had to crawl through the tunnel, step on alternating x's then roll through the black stuff and pop a balloon. Once they completed that they received their robes.
After their robes they practiced their listening skills with Yoda Says.
Travis does a really good Yoda so he did it, and the kids loved it!
Once they proved to be good listeners they each got a light saber and practiced keeping a balloon up and controlled.
Then on to the Jedi training ball (like the one Luke uses on the Millennium Falcon on A NEW HOPE). They all loved it. And when they destroyed it there was a note from Obi Wan Kenobi asking for their help to find princess Leia. Who they found super quick because come to find out Wyatt had conspired with Kailyn before hand so he would know exactly where she was hiding. Little party poopers.
Then we had a little ceremony where we played the music where Luke and Hans get their medals from Princess Leia. While our Princess Leia (Kailyn) handed out the certificates to all the boys. Then of course food, cake and presents!
I think it was a success.
