Too Much

With the kids being sick this past month and the freezing cold weather lately the kids have been watching too much TV. It was okay when they were sick and okay once in awhile but that's all they seem to want to do, especially my oldest. So I made an announcement with trumpet noises, and all, that we wouldn't be doing any more of that and get back into the routine of only a cartoon on Friday.
My sign and Kailyn's little one beneath it in accordance with mine.
And Wyatt's sign in defiance.
It reads, "videos, phones and cartoons, YES."
He doesn't quite agree, per-say, about the new rule.
The kids have been asking to go camping lately so today Kailyn, Gus and I built our own "campsite"
with a real fire
Then we played blue burrito!!
Gus loved it!
They all did, who knew that a fuzzy blanket ride around the apartment would be so fun!

And of course danced our wiggles out since it was 25 degrees and 30 mph winds outside!!!

Treasure hunts are fun on cold days. We read in our table playhouse when it is cold and snowy outside.

Ash, a fun activity for the kids is print out hearts, we got ours at abcteach.com the have a sheet of 6 hearts, take a white crayon and write a secret message(I did this when Hannah wasn't around) then take watercolors, if you have them, if not take half a cup of water and a couple drops of regular paint and mix well. Then have the kids paint the hearts and you messages of love will appear. For your messages think candy hearts. Hannah loved seeing the messages appear. Wyatt and Kay-Kay can cut them out attach to string and you have V-Day garland!

Happy V-Day you guys!
