Last night was pretty horrible. Wyatt was up screaming and yelling at me and eventually woke up all his siblings so I in turn did the quiet yelling, you know the stern, grit you teeth, angry talk at a quiet level as to not disturb all the other now crying children type of yelling. So it finally ended with me telling him to go to bed (after the umpteenth time, but this time he listened and stopped screaming) and that I would lay by him when I got the baby to go back to sleep. Three hours later. Baby finally fell asleep and so did Wyatt. I lay awake of course to wired and sad to sleep. Feeling HORRIBLE that I didn't have more patience with Wyatt. So first thing this morning I apologize to him for not being patient and kind last night and being mean and grouchy. He just stares at me blankly and says "Huh? What momma? What are you talkin' about?". I instantly felt better. Thank you Wyatt, and I love you soooo much, just incase you forgot.
Today was a lot better. The kids and I got out today! Everyone is healthy (well at least on antibiotics) so we headed to Home Depot to build a heart shaped shelf, and then to the Washer and Dryer's. They love to look at them, that's the highlight of the whole outing and this time was Gus's first time down and running at Home Depot. He was a very happy baby. When we got back we had more plans for fun but the kids and I decided to change up their room and they love it! Kay kept giggling and running to her bed and saying "I love you soo much Momma and I love my new princess room!". Keep in mind the only thing new is the way her bed is positioned and her stickers are now on the opposite wall, but it's still very cute to see how excited they get. I love my kids!
Kailyn getting into the peanut butter while "waiting" for me to make her a sandwich. Look closer you'll see it on her nose.
Their "new room". I had a lot of fun with them reorganizing and moving things around. Wyatt's bed used to be were Kay's is now. Kay's bed used to be where the train table was and the train table was where Wyatt's bed is now. I took out one of their book holders and had them pick out their favorites right now and share that one to open up space. I took the other one and put it in our room, so they can play "library" and come borrow books and exchange them into the one they share.
After they built their shelves we came home and painted them and hung them up!
Finally something useful from Home Depot.
( I take that back this is now the third useful thing we've made out of 12 ;)
And my eyes were not off the kids, my phone camera was but my eyes weren't. Just fyi.
