Picking up Wyatt from a birthday party

M: What'd you have for dinner??

W: Chicken nuggets.

M: Did you like them?

W: Yeah, I ate 20 another kid ate 14....but he puked.

G: I'm itchy! I hate mosquitos!

W: You shouldn't say that. You should like them.

K: Why? They bite you and it hurts and its itchy.

W: Because think about it without them you wouldn't have chocolate!

I Ignore Gus while he continually jumps off his bed, while I'm trying to sing bedtime songs, finally out of breath he says

G: MOM, MOM WHY CAN'T I FLY???! I keep flapping my arms!!!!

7 minutes later.

Screaming and crying and a bloody knee.

M: You ok??

G: (sobbing) No I got hurt practicing my landing but guess what???

M: What??

G: (a break in the sobbing, cracks a smile) best part isss I really flied.

W: Mom we should go eat at a soup kitchen some time.

M: Why would you want to do that???

W: Because you don't have to pay! You just walk in and eat. I think I'd like that.

M: Wyatt, they don't have to pay because it's for people who don't have any food or money, that's why they don't have to pay. We have money and food so we don't need to eat at a soup kitchen.

W: Ohhh well I still think we should go sometime.

M:(reading the school newsletter) Levi made top runner! He had the most laps this year.

W: yeah I know he got a trophy for the week.

M: Why didn't you get the most laps?

W: (lifts up his shirt and pats his belly) because I gotta keep up with my diet.

G: (looking out the car window) Maaaannn Jesus must be so tired making all these villllaaagees, and things....thats a lot a work he must be so so tired.

M:(dropping kids off at school) I love you guys, have a good day!

G: MOm, Mom roll down the window!

M: (Rolls down the window)

G: I LOVE YOU PUPPIES!!!!! ahahhahahahahahah that was funny right mom? See those kids they laughed too! hahhahahah
