When I was younger every Sunday, at church, in Primary they would do Spotlight. It was where they would single out one kid and tell everyone else about them and their hobbies, favorites, families etc. So I thought I'd start doing that with the kids. I wanted to start with Augustus.
Augustus is like a puppy. He likes to chew on shoes, tries to climb all over people, tries to eat your face, lays in your lap, squeezes his little body through small openings in hopes of getting where he shouldn't be, pants when he's excited and bites occasionally. He is the cutest baby/puppy boy ever and cracks us all up all the time. He loves to climb, walk (he's only 9 months, it's nuts!), listen to his daddy play guitar, laugh hysterically, play with/be by any vacuum, play in water (any water so the toilet always has to be quarantined) , give funny looks which make us all laugh, play with his big brother and sister, be outside, clap, wave at other kids, and take whatever you have in your hands. Lately, he screams when Wyatt or Kailyn try to mess with him when he's playing. It scares the kids and they seem to freak out and hurry and give back the toy (even if Gus originally stole it from them) or find him a new one. I have to admit I just laugh to myself about this. He's such a little guy but he's very intimidating, apparently. Gus is also a momma's boy (and my sanity on crazy days). He's got two little teeth on bottom and getting two more on top which just makes him look not so baby anymore (holding back the tears). I love watching him explore and figure things out. He is very entertaining. When he gets frustrated he sits down and puts his arms out, fists and mouth clenched and grunts. Like I said before, very entertaining. He hates to have his diaper changed or be on his back really, unless he's asleep and it would have to be a deep sleep at that. He loves wheels, all sorts, and is very fascinated with them. Gus is also my only baby to put things in his mouth. Everything he holds usually needs to be taste tested. He is also one handsome baby and knows it.
I love him dearly and am so grateful to have him.
