So after
a ton of errands, like these.
I decided they deserved a night out.
A fancy night!
So we got all fancy, had lessons on fanciness, read fancy Nancy to help with it all. Hopped in the car to head over to the neighborhood pasta restaurant (its quiet and never crowded, and kids eat free on Tuesday) and it was closed. Like out of business, ripped apart inside, sign gone, and everything!
Maybe it had something to do with it never being crowded..
We were crushed!
So I tried to make it up to them. We hurried and grabbed chickfila to go. Had them wait in the car while I turned it into a restaurant. ie. table cloth, closed the curtains and lit some candles.

They LOVED IT!
We talked fancy (lots of darlings, yes sirs and ma'ams and borderline british) we used our manners (notice Wyatt pulling out Kailyn's chair, Gus did mine, and they both stood anytime a lady left the table.. love them! No elbows on the table, napkins in their laps, no potty talk, they pointed their finger up to signal the waitress, etc) I doubled as mom and waitress. They went on to tell me how they were friends with Fancy nancy and how most books were written about them, and they starred in all her movies and Kailyn turned out to be the Presidents Daughter and wyatt was secret service and Gus was more famous then them all because he's in books and movies! Oh I loved it! We continued our fanciness to the red box to rent a movie. Kailyn was in HEAVEN and the boys liked it too.
