Tests, tests and more tests!

Kailyn has had issues with passing out since she was about 2 years old. As she has gotten older they have become more frequent and now she has started to have seizures on top of them.
The last one being a couple of days ago and since she still wasn't aware and in and out the next morning we were rushed off to Texas Children's to run some tests.
Her MRI came back clean (hooray! no brain tumors!!) but they still wanted to run and EEG to try and track seizures. So we made another trip to the Children's hospital to do that test as well.
 View from the 21st floor!
Getting ready with her "princess crown"
When she asked me why the guy kept calling it a princess crown, when clearly it was not, I explained how he thought it looked like one and how he probably says that to kids so they won't be scared her response:
"Oh, haha, he's funny. But he was good. Like gentle. (putting hands out like a princess and talking with her hands) Really gentle with my head. He did a good job."
SHE DID a good job. This girl is hard core! She can take anything! She's had to have IV's, blood work,  sedation, and MRI and now and EEG. And she does it all with a brave face, never a tear or fighting, struggling, nothing. Seriously she makes Superheroes look like wimps. Kailyn is amazing and so strong which is goo because her EEG came back clean as well.
So their will be more tests next and I hope we find answers soon so we can help her get better and know what's going on.

Hello Beautiful Kelly Family! Just wanted to say Jarod would pass out when he was younger, did it once in 1st grade while standing on the back of a high riser, lucky for us teacher saw him roll his eyes and caught him. DX was growing to fast, burning to much fuel, cure he has been on a high protein low fat diet, he also drank a lot of Gatorade when he was younger.

Also, when they did her EEG did they try to cause a seizure? If not I would ask why. Hannah (knock on wood) as never had a seizure but KT can cause them so when she was 3 month old we did an EEG with seizure causing lights. She was also sleep deprived and asleep during the test.

Hope you find out something soon, I know from experience the unknown is worse than the knowing. Love to you all, Kat
