School Stories

Yesterday at Wyatt's school they celebrated the 50th day of school in style!
He didn't have a white t-shirt so I figured a plaid print would work too, why not, right?
Wyatt shared with me that he cried at school during one of the games. Which of course broke my heart. He told me that he cried for just a little bit because he couldn't figure out how to do the hula hoop and all the other kids were doing it, but his just kept dropping. But then his teacher told everybody they didn't have to do the hula hoop and that they could try the limbo. So he said he stopped crying a little bit (because he was only crying a little bit, he reassured me)and ran over and did the limbo.
KING of the DAY!!!
Wyatt has been waiting to be King of the Day ever since his first day of school a month ago. Since he was the new kid she just added his name at the end of the list, so it took awhile until it was his turn. But he talked about it EVERYDAY! So when I came to pick him up and he was wearing his special crown we were both smiling from ear to ear!!! And of course he wore it for the whole day, because he's the KING!

A school story on a happier note.
Wyatt told me the other day that a boy cried at lunch, because his applesauce exploded. Wyatt informed me he made the kid feel better by telling him that is was okay and then giving him all of his napkins to help clean it up and then when those got all yucky he went walking with the sad boy to go get more napkins. He also said the poor little boy spilt his water when they were walking too but Wyatt told him it was okay and that it was only water and that it would dry. And then he showed me where the water was on him and how it really did dry!
