He likes to fit in small places. I've found him in cupboards, toy boxes, shelves. He's like a little gnome. In fact Travis wants to get him a gnome outfit and take pictures of him everywhere kind of like the Travel Velocity gnome with the tall pointy hat.
How he spent a good chunk of his Sunday.
Pretty proud of himself.
We also came upon a car accident on Sunday, one car flipped over and about four other cars all stopped to help. As we got closer I saw a little hand banging on the glass of the flipped over car and Travis immediately pulled over and ran across the freeway to help. Thankfully everyone was okay they pulled the little girl out and her mother that was pregnant! They didn't speak english so luckily others were there that could speak spanish to make sure the little girl and her mom were okay. On our way home we were talking about crisis's and our family. School shootings, car accidents we seem to walk right into the middle of them and Travis seems to RUN to them. I'm thankful for his willingness to just jump in, literally, and help. He doesn't hesitate he just runs to where the trouble is and does what he can to help. He's pretty freaking amazing.
The kids of course talked about it for the rest of the day and then the next couple of days. They saw it too. Thankfully, from what we know, no one was hurt.
Fun at the neighbors.
The neighbor boy came over to our house and wanted to play in the backyard only to open the back door and say
"Hey, where's your playground?"
W: "I dunno, we don't have one."
W:"Mom why don't we have one?"
So we play in his backyard :)
Win, win.
Gus, after finally settling down from the dog standing next to him with out his knowledge. So when he turned around to see the harmless dog, he just starting freaking out and crying hysterically. Poor kid, he hates dogs.
