Since public school here in Texas has begun I made it a point to start the "school routine". We started school at 7:45 am and ended right before lunch a little before noon.
Today was the first day of school. Wyatt is now officially the new kid at whatever school he'll eventually go to. I think that added to my stress and scatter brain of the day. The kids liked the new routine and said they liked their "new school" I think they were just being nice. I didn't feel like it went well, I was struggling trying to keep Gus off the table/stealing their writing utensils/ripping off whatever was on the wall/etc. So I didn't have a lot of patience and I felt like it went terrible.
But tomorrow is another day, I'll do better and be better, hopefully.

I know I don't have to tell you these are the best days of your life because you my beautiful daughter have already figured that one out. You are doing an amazing work. Anyone else that would try to fill your shoes would fall short. Please remember how important it is to take really good care of yourself so you are around a really long time. HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!
