Saturday Travis didn't have work so we invited him to join us for one of our days of fun. The kids were more than excited (so was Travis just a little tired) to have their daddy come to all the fun stuff. First we went to Home Depot for the kids workshop where they built periscopes. I'm so glad Travis was there because he assisted Wyatt and saved the day when I messed Kailyn's up. Wyatt probably enjoyed it the most because he got to build with his daddy in which he kept telling Kay she couldn't because "only big boys get to build with hammers not GIIIRRLLLSS!" (which of course didn't sit with Kailyn too well, but proved him wrong in completing her very own periscope) So we came home and decorated them. I also found out that one of the children's authors we like would be doing story time at Book People. We packed up and rushed over to that. (We all loved it and wish we would have brought our book for him to sign!) Then we come back for lunch and went over to Toys R Us to tryout the new Crayola 3 D Chalk (not exactly what I was expecting, thought their would be more to the event but not so, but of course the kids liked it and that's the reason we went so, yeah!) The kids also had fun looking at all the toys and trying out the bikes! We finally got home around 4 pm and had some popsicles and relaxed a bit before dinner. So glad for days with Daddy!
