Wonderland Park

Picture perfect!
No one ever wants to take a picture with mom!

Her face after the deer took her entire bag of feed in one fail swoop.
His face while feeding the deer

Turkey gathering, in which Wyatt was wondering if we were going to "kill and eat them" (and his dad was worried because he wore a princess get up.)
Kid, which is a baby goat, another funny fact for Wyatt.
Peacock "dancing around", Wyatt picked up on that part of the announcer's schpil and thought it was preeetty hilarious.

I've always wanted to get a picture of the kids in these things!

Kay on her "horsee!"
He was so excited to ride this red truck!

They even had a wooden train at this park!
Jungle Gym FUN!

Yesterday we went to Wonderland Park in San Marcos. It's got a huge natural cave, train ride through a little petting zoo, and an observation tower. We just took the train ride because it was affordable, plus the kids love trains more than anything else so it worked out great. (Major plus we were the only ones there) During the summer the train enters the "cave" through a waterfall into the little park where they have 3 different kinds of deer, peacocks, goats, turkeys, llamas, emus, and some other poultry of some kind. We got to hand feed the deer and look at all the animals and of course ride the train. After wards we went and picked up Travis friend Colin (who just happened to live around the corner from Wonderland) and found this really fun park. It reminded me of a mini-disneyland with all the things to do and the whole thing is three huge wooden castles connected with slides and look out points and is now our favorite park. Travis went to his job interview later that day as well so with school starting back up next week and the looks of a new job it was great to get out before things get too crazy!
