No Wyatt didn't get a hair cut that's not him. But that is the train we rode.
Once again not our canoes but we rented some just like those on that lake and went under that train bridge.
This is Dell Diamond home of the Round Rock Express, we sat on the right side of lawn.
And here is a picture of Brisket for all of you Utahans who don't know what it is.We had an amazing family fun weekend! (Since we haven't gotten a camera yet you are left with the great search engine google images) We started off with a picnic in the park followed by a "Dada please I can ride the choo-choo? Dada, we could ride the choo-choo, you want to do that with me, we could do that!"(aka a train ride), then canoeing on Lake Austin and finished up with an overpriced ice cream cone split 4 ways while watching people dive into Barton Springs Pool. (Also awaiting the storm that blew in some sprinkles, looked more fearsome then it was.) Then the next night we took the kids to a Express game (minor league baseball in Round Rock, AMAZING field, really a fun time) where we sat on the lawn to watch the game. It was a lot of fun. The game lasted 15 innings and so did the kids! (Wyatt was holding out for the big firework show at the end, and it was worth it!) We didn't get home until 11:45, in which Wyatt was still awake and kicking and Kay gave up only 20 minutes before hand. (Why don't my kids sleep?) Then Labor Day we had a BBQ and played some baseball outback.(The kids got a little baseball and bat from the game, and Trav built them a little tee out of a empty foil roll and a diaper box pretty ingenious.) Travis made his DELICIOUS brisket which everyone loved! (Wyatt kept telling me how good his food was and Kailyn kept saying mmmmm after every bite.) The we headed over to Uncle Mikey's apartments for swimming. The kids and I were so happy and grateful to get to spend so much time with Travis! Thanks for an awesome Labor Day babe!
