Dear Travis,
I haven't talked to you all day......again. And I missed you a lot today. Hope you're day was pleasant
enough. Mine started off crap probably had to do with going swimsuit shopping first thing in the morning 6 1/2 months pregnant and with two kids in tow. There's just no bouncing back from that. I mean seriously how can you NOT be in a foul mood after that?? And Trav if you were a woman you'd be nodding your heading thinking "she's right, she's totally right". But instead its more like "she's crazy, she's just oh so crazy". Which I don't care because I can't hear it anyways because it's in your head. :)
ANY who after that catastrophe, we all made it out alive and with a new swimsuit for little Miss Kay and myself, we headed home to, of course, play. We play a lot. Maybe too much. Is that possible?? I don't know either way I was really tired. That relief society crap.....*ahem* I mean activity whooped my butt last night. So after hours of playing baby dolls, doll house, cars and pretend..... I ALMOST fell asleep on the ground.... it was nice. Then we decided to have a picnic. So we packed a picnic. and walked to the park and it was hot. Like 95 degrees hot, but not really because it was more like 87 but was really humid and gross so it felt like 95 degrees. And that's when it hit me... this is only the beginning! Summer hasn't even officially started and I'm going to still be pregnant for it!!! Then I got really cranky! Being large and in charge all summer long is going to be miserable! I've never been pregnant during the summer.. and from what I can tell it's going to be terribly uncomfortable and gross.
But thats not where my day ended. We came home and had popsicles and the kay and Gus had to wash their animals because they were dirty. How'd they get dirty, you ask? Well because they rolled them around in the mulch and launched them from the top of the playground into the mulch...and then I rolled them around in the dirt because someone didn't think theirs was as dirty as someone elses. Pssh. Solved that problem. So I set up the kitchen sink for them and they spent a good half hour giving them a deep clean..followed by washing machine clean because i've got issues. But then we, I mean me, I, cleaned up and we went to get Wyatt from school and take him to feed the horses because that's what he wanted to do instead of go to the splash pad. But once we did get there he wasn't all that into it. Which was weird. Augustus was and I was. Horses always make me happy. and being outside. even when its really hot. So that was nice. After horses and driving around trying to drop off your transcript we had movie night. We watched Annie. It was nice. The kids sang songs the rest of the evening bouncing around the house. And with promises of the pool tomorrow if they would go to bed and actually get some sleep is where we end. Because once they fell asleep so did I. That was nice.

Hey Ash! It sounds like Travis has an interesting job. Does he enjoy it? I'm sure with him being gone so much that is rough! And, I REALLY feel for you being pregnant in the summer in Texas. I was hot with my girls who were born in December and March. So, I imagine I would be a pansy in the summer. I love all the pictures on your blog. You do such a good job with your kids. They have a super fun Mom! Love you, girl!
ps Sage was hugging a deer at the petting zoo at Bear World. Who knew a deer could be so chill?
