So this was my first, and the kids of course, Christmas without Travis.
Seeing as how he missed EVERY calender holiday this year it was, I don't know...... expected I guess?
The kids did really good.
And we were able to Skype Travis so that was fun too. I think the saddest moment is when Kailyn forgot it was just the computer and ran up with open arms to her daddy (aka the head on the computer screen) and realized she couldn't. But I am beyond grateful that he has a job and though it keeps him away A LOT, I am still glad he has one to the alternative.
This picture cracks me up.
He looks ticked off and like he is flipping me the bird.
My favorite part was seeing them open their presents from each other and the big happy hugs they gave!
Diane Tradition: taking pictures in front of all your presents.
He's trying to look cool... and is in fact not mad.
Playing with their new toys!
After presents (Thank you Mom, Rob, Nick, Stacy, Grandmother and Pawpaw, Grandpa and Grandma Clark, Dad, Celeste, Roger, Hinda and Grandma and Grandpa Dobson!!)
we headed to Kountze to visit Travis's Grandparents.
Uncle Mikey was there too and Gus stuck to him like glue.
It starts to show how much they miss their dad when they follow other peoples dads or their uncles around EVERYWHERE (and I mean everywhere, Gus waited outside the bathroom door for him)
And to end our Christmas day more Christmas lights!
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and you all had your loved ones close because Christmas is just not the same without them.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!
