Everyday Augustus tells me we are bestest friends. When he gets mad at me, or hits me, he apologizes and immediatley says "but momma are we still bestest friends?" Or if I have to be stern or he gets in trouble he says "but but I'm your bestest friend, 'member momma!!" And of course the reply is always "YES!"
