Got this old Schwinn from Trav's Grandparents backyard and am bringing it upon myself (and Travis) to fix it up for the kids, so they can have a bike. Uncle Mike fixed up the other one beautifully and said the kids could have it so I thought Kay could have this one since a girl bike (had a basket and everything) and the other one is all that is boy.
One thing I've learned is that rust will come off of chrome with Aluminum foil dipped in water. It's pretty amazing, and something we had around the house so it didn't cost me anything. I'm hoping we can restore it to rideable condition without spending over $45 bucks.
Hopefully it turns out well.
