Today was a great Sunday.
The kids all got along and played nicely all morning. We were late to church, as always, but we went as a family so who cares what time we got there!
I love, love, love being in Nursery and the kids love Primary/Nursery too, so Sunday's are really fun for the kids and I.
This handsome little guy is going to be 5 this week! I can't believe it!
He is such an amazing big brother!! I'm constantly amazed by him. He is always so sweet and ready to help, especially his little sister and brother! He and Kailyn have been playing a lot together alone. This is new for me because I haven't been invited to play (in fact I'm usually disinvited), they like to go in there room and play by themselves. I'm glad they are playing nicely together and I'm lucky I have Augustus to play with or I'd be in bad shape. Wyatt is such an amazing boy I'm so lucky to be his mom! Today at church Travis was told this story about about Wyatt from a passerby "there was a little kid in Wyatt's class crying at the drinking fountain while they were all in line waiting for their turn. Wyatt patted them on the back and said 'it's okay don't be sad, you'll get a turn too, don't cry, it'll be okay' ". He is such a sweet boy! I love you Wyatt!!
Gussy Bear.
That's what we call Augustus and lately he has been loving on his teddy bear he got from Christmas from my mom. It is such a cute/soft bear and it is so cute to see him hold it! I had to take a couple of pictures today of him with it. He had been holding it ever since he woke up from his nap! He is such a happy baby and makes us all laugh all day long! Ohh how we love our Gussy Bear!
Kailyn, Kailyn, Kailyn.
I put two pictures of us because they really meant a lot to me. She WANTED to take a picture with me! Lately Kailyn has been so sweet and loving towards me and I can't get enough of it!!
For those of you who don't know Kailyn very well she usually dislikes me A LOT. Telling me on a daily basis "you're a mean mommy, I don't like you, I don't love you, I hate you, I want a new mommy, I want you to die so daddy and I can find a NEW mommy" and my personal favorite "I'm going to save up all my money and go the mommy store and buy a new mommy, yep that's what I'm gonna DO!". But the past two weeks now she hasn't said any of it!! It's been pure bliss! And I'm probably jinxing it by saying this but I want to have it recorded so I can come back and look at it! She tells me she loves me like 5 times a day now! (Which for the record I probably tell my kids, each one, like literally 20 times a day that I love them so I've been dying for that to rub off on her) She doesn't throw fits constantly and she just is generally pleasant. And I don't mean to say she wasn't before, because she definitely was a pleasant, beautiful, fun loving little girl but she is like fire and ice, one extreme or the other and a lot of times it was fire. So I am really enjoying this time and am excited and hope it lasts! She has also turned into quite the little runner! It's really exciting! Kailyn has femoral anteversion, fancy word for her legs turn in at her hips, and she trips herself, falls, stumbles a lot. But ever since going to her last dr's appointment she has all the sudden been into running. I think it had to do with the doctor saying "now just because her legs turn in doesn't mean she can't be the fastest runner on the playground, she'll fall more then most kids and it will take a lot of practice but she can be just as fast a runner then anyone else". Now the kids love their pediatrician and what she says is like gold in their book. I think she heard the doctor and just went with it. She has been running far, fast and is falling remarkably less! She is still an amazing little mommy to Augustus, who adores her like nothing else! It is the cutest thing to watch them together.
I love you Kailyn!
So handsome and so kind!
He just finished building a lego ship for his little sister who was getting so frustrated she was in tears because the one she built kept breaking.
I straightened her hair today for church and she loved it!
She came out of the bathroom and back to Wyatt who said
W: Kailyn I like your hair, it looks really nice.
K: Ohh thank you Wyatt.
W: You look different.
K: Yeah cause mommy does it and then it does it like that. (petting her head)
W: I like it, it's really pretty.
Another sweet moment.
I love our little family!

ADORABLE! And, I LOVE the pics of you and Kay! So glad to hear she is being more loving to you! Hope and pray that it continues! You deserve it!
Beautiful people in beautiful pictures-thank you. Oh, and if you're late for church don't you feel bad. For crying out loud you have to drive to Kansas to get to your building. We are so spoiled in Utah.
