The kids and I started our Tuesday off with a puppet show over at the Doughtry Art Center. The kids loved it, even GUS! It was an old folk tale about the hairy monster and a boy named Wiley who had to trick it three times to make it go away. Pretty entertaining.
Then we went home packed a lunch and picked up a Daddy and headed over to Mt Bonnell like we promised ;)
Wyatt's a natural hiker. He loves climbing and checking out all the different trails, he's quite the adventure seeker.
Kailyn loved it until she got all sweaty then she just kind of got cranky.
But we still love her.
Its good to go with an extra set of hands, ie Travis, because one of the trails down doesn't have anything standing between you and certain death. Kind of gave me a panic attack all the way down and by "kind of" I mean it did.
Wyatt climbing up, thought this was the way up the mountain, prettty disappointed when he saw the stairs. He didn't think the 107 steps to the top was as fun as the flat rock all the way to the top.
