Nativity Display

Today I took the kids to our Church Nativity display. It was pretty impressive with over 400 different sets of Nativities! The kids loved looking at all the different kinds of nativities and had even more fun watching the little films they had playing in the chapel. They got to pick out a seat, then move to a different one, then kept turning around to "whisper" to me about what was happening next (it was so cute and I was standing in the back with Gus, and there was only two missionaries besides us there and the film was short, so hopefully we weren't too much of a disturbance) and then just sat in awe watching the story of Christ's birth come to life. However, they both were in shock when Mary and Joseph actually stayed in the stable with all the animals. It's one thing to hear the story be told but when they watched the little movie about it Wyatt kept asking "why are they going to stay with the animals??? It's probably really stinky in there!" he was very concerned for them all. I reminded him about how there wasn't any room for Mary and Joseph, he remembered and calmed down a bit, but it was still a topic of discussion on the way home.
