Hanukkah

Hanukkah, according to Wikipedia, means festival of lights. So we plugged in all our Christmas lights and I told the story of Hanukkah to the kids. How the Maccabees were able to drive out the King of Syria's forces from their temple. Then when they were rededicating it they only had enough oil to keep the light lit for one day. But the light kept burning for EIGHT days, until their replacement oil arrived! (Anyone feel free to comment and correct me, and I certainly don't mean to offend). I read that to celebrate you usually sing a song and light a candle and give a little gift. Now, the only song I know is the dreidel song.
